West London Welcome is able to open each Thursday thanks to volunteer efforts, donations from the general public, and local organisations.
We are indebted to the generosity of the Hammersmith Quaker Meeting House, without whom we wouldn’t have a premises. We are also lucky to have support from the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and Hammersmith United Charities, St. Michael and All Angels, Latymer Upper School, the Hammersmith Residents’ Mall Association, the Earls Court and Olympia Charitable Trust, and Humanitair Fond.
Thanks to Localgiving and the Postcode Community Trust, we fund travel costs for asylum seekers to access exercise and meditation services through a Magic Little Grant. The Postcode Community Trust is a grant-giving charity funded by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.
We are thankful to Patisserie Saint Anne, Gail’s and Pret for their delicious pastries and sandwiches. The Felix Project enables us to provide a fantastic range of food at our foodbank each week. A huge thank you to Bloody Good Period for their brilliant workshops, Hammersmith and Fulham Law Centre and Citizens Advice Hammersmith and Fulham for their advice clinics, Computer Aid for the computers, and the Walt Disney Company for their gifts.
